Heston Blumenthal, is an internationally acclaimed chef. Described as a culinary alchemist for his innovative and unique approach to gastronomy, he opened The Fat Duck in 1995 which was awarded its third Michelin star in 2004. Heston took over The Hinds Head in October 2004 and re-opened it to great critical acclaim. It was immediately recognised by the Michelin Guide and awarded a Bib Gourmand for its outstanding cuisine. This was followed by two Rosettes in the AA Guide, Best Sunday Lunch in Observer Food Monthly, and Restaurant of the Year in Decanter magazine.

Here at The Hinds Head, Heston has focused on creating a traditional British pub that has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. As well as creating our signature dishes, he also helps choose the extensive selection of wines and other beverages that we offer.
