When I mentioned a few weeks ago that I hadn’t managed to visit Heston Blumenthal’s pub, so many of you wrote to say I must be mad that I dropped in last weekend. And you were quite right. Excellent pub. Best Oxtail and Kidney pudding you will ever eat. And the only spanking hot deep-fried mini scotch-egg containing runny quail’s egg served alongside a pea soup that you’ll ever eat. Worth the trip for that alone. Love Heston, love his pub.
