The rich, complex, and characterful flavour profile of whisky has long fascinated Heston and has inspired a variety of dishes over the years, from Flaming Sorbet to Whisk(e)y Gums. That same curiosity and respect for flavour makes Burns Night a natural fit, an evening where Scotland’s most iconic spirit meets storytelling, tradition and craft.
Join us on Sunday, 25th January 2026 for an evening that begins with an educational masterclass hosted by Jack Smith from The Macallan Distillery, followed by a 5-course tasting menu including Scotland’s historical dishes. You can choose an optional curated whisky pairing to accompany your meal, served either neat or as a cocktail – allowing you to experience Macallan in your own way. Alternatively, a carefully selected wine pairing will also be available.
Expect an immersive evening celebrating the history of whisky and Scottish traditions, complete with a bagpiper and the ceremonial addressing of the haggis. To conclude the experience, enjoy an exclusive Macallan Whisky Gum, specially crafted by our Fat Duck team.
