Bray Walking Route along Thames River

Bray has been our home for 22 years now, and Sundays here still feel like a small gift. We thought we’d share how we’d spend one, in case you’d like to make a day of it.

Getting here

Maidenhead station is the closest stop. Just 18 minutes from London Paddington on GWR or the Elizabeth line, then a five-minute taxi into the village. If you’re driving, there is plenty of parking available.

A walk along the Thames

Bray sits right on the river, and a Sunday morning stroll has to be one of the village’s biggest pleasures. We’ve mapped out an 11km (8½-mile) route along the Thames that takes you through some of the loveliest countryside in Berkshire.
